Decorations and medals

The Bukosho medal. This is one of the highest Army badges. It was awarded for distinguished military valor.

Military Wound Badge. The badge for persons wounded in battle

The China Incident medal. It was awarded for service in China

The Order of the Sacred Treasure. It is generally awarded for long and/or meritorious service and considered to be the lowest of the Japanese orders of merit

The Order of the Rising Sun was the first order established in Japan, and is both a military and civilian award. It is also awarded to foreign people for their services to Japan.

The Order of the Golden Kite  is a military award for bravery or leadership.
